Week 74

Hey Fam! It sounds like things are moving pretty fast up there in canada. lots of news and things to keep busy :) That's good to hear. The boys sound insane on the football field haha a targeted hit?... haha probably deserved it...  somethings never change haha football punks. I wish I would have played more football haha It was the best. I'm excited for the boys.
Jianna sounds like she's getting into the YSA scene pretty well, it's a change but it's super fun.
Here they don't have enough ysa to make a ward and so we are super lucky where we live to have that opportunity.
JAM!!!!! I miss jam... Raspberry jam... there's nothing better on toast! They don't do toast here haha they're missing out.
Dad with school! Mom with school! everyone with school! haha that's awesome! JARE is gonna be a lawyer!! Janae and Josh están a ful!!!

This week was really good for us. We both learned a lot and we were able to see a lot of success and we'll be looking for more this week too!! We found 9 new investigators that want to follow Christ, and are all really awesome.
They are all young couples with young children. 4 couples with their children. When we went to ward council the other day they all went crazy asking us how they could help us with them!! I love this ward! :) So willing to help and to work together as a team. and that's what we are trying to establish is the need to work as a team, and they are catching the wave as a ward. There is soo much joy in this work when we let it enter into our hearts. I'm trying to open mine even more.

While one splits this last week we were walking and we saw this young guy just sitting outside his house looking off into the distance... and I looked at my comp for that day whose name is Elder Delgado which means thin (delgado=thin) And he's not very thin... poor guy. He's from ecuador. A very hard working missionary and I asked him if we should talk to this kid. We said hi to him and he didn't answer us... but we went up to him anyways and shook his hand and introduced ourselves as missionaries, and asked him if he was christian and he said not really... and so we asked him if he had any questions about the churches or religion and he started talking about whatever thing... my goodness... he started talking about the issue of abortion and gays... and we answered his questions but he didn't want to learn anything, but nevertheless I felt to stay with him, even if he was asking these types of questions. after about 20 minutes with this kid he stopped and said "look! my sister is coming, she wants to talk to you guys" and when we turned to look, he took off running... but his sister really was coming and soo we waited for her, and it turns out that she believes but doesn't know a whole lot about jesus. and so she let us in, and we ended teaching the restoration and a little bit about the plan of salvation, she had soo many questions and it was awesome!! She told us that her husband is actually a member and it's been like 10 years since he's been active and that she went to church once about 7 months ago to bless her baby girl francesca. She was super prepared already. she told us that she'd read part of the book of mormon already and that she wanted to get to know her savior, but in his church... I almost fainted when I heard that haha I was soo happy, and I couldn't believe it really. and we went back the other day with my actual companion Elder C. And it went super well, we taught the plan of salvation and talked about repentance and being able to be cleaned and sanctified through baptism and the holy ghost. we asked her to be baptized and she said yes. That she wanted to be baptized to follow her savior. but they need to get married, and so today we will be having a lesson with our mission leader and we are going to talk about a date to get married!!! We met her husband the other day too, and he is awesome. His name is Facundo, and hers is Macarena. They are awesome, and the ward has told us that they want to help!!
Soo that was the biggest miracle this week, and we are super hyped to keep working and finding these choice souls of our heavenly father!

Today for P-DAY we are going to buy a bunch of meat and have an ASADO!!!! It's been a long time since I've eaten one... And our mission leader said the same thing, and so we offered to buy the meat between the four of us and he said he'd buy salad and bread!! And soo we are going to have an ASADAZO!!! (BIG Asado)

We are very happy and excited to keep working in the vineyard of our Father in Heaven.
We are in the latter days and the Work of the lord is accelerating!!! We have to keep working to become the useful servants that our Father in Heaven needs to further his work upon the Earth. I eternally grateful to be part of this. I love my Savior. He has saved me, and has given me a new life, and he continues to heal, hold, and help me.
I love each of you and am grateful for your examples and love. Keep enduring. 7 days at a time. Sacrament meeting to Sacrament meeting. I know that this church is true, and that it is God's kingdom upon the earth.

Have a great week!!

XOXOX
