Missionary Josh in Argentina

Hola mi Familia :)   Este semana paso volando jaja muy rapido!!  It feels like I just emailed and that it was P-Day yesterday... The time is passing super fast and we are working really really hard to get baptisms and to advance the work here in Roldan :) The work goes fast when you are working hard... Which is is what kind of scares me... I'm gonna complete a year in the next transfer... BUT anyways :)  Lots of work to do!!!!!!! This past week we went to rosario to play soccer again jaja and we won again!!!!  I played alittle bit of goalie once we were a little ahead jaja and then they started to catch up again, because I don't play goalie... But it was fun :) To asnwer your question mom, the latinos/Argentinos are super insanely good at soccer!!!! It's actually unreal how they play :) but we win anyways haha, and it's because we pass the ball together, and then score:)  They doin't ever pass the ball haha and whenever they actually do which is rare

Hola mi familia :)   Como estan todos? Por sus cartas me parece re bien!!  My week was good too! :) There was lots to do haha We had P-Day which we always go and play soccer in rosario, which is always a blast, and we always win the soccer games :)  On tuesday we had one of our district meetings which are getting easier to plan and prepare :) It went well, we talked about the importance of having our purpose as missionaries in mind at all times, and teaching and finding with power and authority. It went well and everyone left feeling really animated and excited to go and work!!! That was my goal in mind before we started talking and teaching :) After the meeting we had a quick council as a district how we were going to start baptizing every week as a district... this was a little difficult to come up with plans so that everyone really felt like we could do it, because this past week as a district we didn't have anyone planned for baptism... at the end of this week w

Hola mi familia :)   Muchas Gracias por sus cartas :)  Este semana fue muy rapido...   It sounds like everyone is super busy with life haha Somethings never change, but I find that I always liked to be busy!  on a mission you are always busy!!!!! And when we aren't we clap alot of doors haha This week was good!! We are in the service of the lord... What can I say? haha it was amazing!! We found 6 new investigators and our last one that we found was my favorite experience I think!!  It was sunday night and we were walking the streets of roldan contacting and thinking of who we could go and visit and than it both hit us like a speed bump in  the back of the old 4runner... Angel!!!! We are going to see Angel B....... I said!! haha Elder Fields looked at me and asked who that was, and I reminded him of a week ago when we were walking down the street and a man contacted us... which doesn't really happen very often haha and so when it does you go and you talk

on the roof of the apartment watching  fireworks Hola mi familia :) The weeks in the mission are passing pretty fast... 2 more transfers and I'll have completed a year... pretty scary haha  The work is moving along just like it always will, except I have noticed and learned that with the changes in the church and the way they are going to do classes now that the work needs to be advanced, and a lot faster than it is going! We all need to take a part in helping and working alongside our leaders in edifying and constructing the kingdom of God on Earth in preparing for the second coming :) Good stuff!! Really Good stuff!! This past week was transfers, and I am still in Roldan :) Gratefully!!  and also Elder Fields will be staying with me for his second half of training, so that is good!! I'm excited to work with him some more and to see his progress in the mission field! This past week went by super fast and we had a good week!! We had splits with the zone lea

Hola mi querido familia :)   Wow it's like I haven't talked to you guys since last year.... Haha Just kidding... but actually :) HAPPY HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!!!! It sounds like from all your letters that it is very cold right now haha  But that's okay haha Because the other day it was like 40 degrees here... I would have loved to have snow haha But I'm glad you are all staying warm with the wood stove :)  This week has been pretty crazy haha We haven't had a lot of time to work and proselyte because we had so many days where we couldn't get out and work because of the partying and parties that were going on haha It wasn't dangerous just crazy :) Then the days that we did get to work almost all of our appoinments fell through and so we had a week of alot of contacting and rejection... but we learned alot from all of it!! And we did find a few people that were interested!! The other day we had a sade experience with one of our new investigator
