Week 90 All is Well!

with Elder Fields again!!!! Lets Go!!!!!!!!!!!!

And you'll never believe it... haha I love tomatoes now! I eat them plain or if I have onions, I'll eat them with onions!! Que Rico!!

Hey everyone how's life going? :)
Sounds busy busy busy haha
me too!

Lots to do and little time to do it, but this week was awesome! It's good being back with elder fields, ad this time as my comp and not a greenie... If I could have the opportunity to train again... which I won't have haha I would want to help the new missionary feel even more in charge, in the way of receiving revelation and acting for themselves. I would encourage that a lot more, instead of just doing everything for them because they can't speak the language... but Like I said it's a new dynamic now, We are equal partners and even more so, I'm helping him lead. This is his first time being zone leader, but is really prepared, and is teaching me things too!!! He's had a great mission so far and is content and happy busily doing the Work of the Lord. We were pretty busy this week trying to find new people who really are ready to listen to the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. and we were able to find a new family that are super prepared their names are Ramiro and Micaela, they are 24 years old and have a little girl that's 3... but I don't remember her name. We contacted Ramiro and taught him on the Sidewalk and he pulled a few chairs out of his house to sit down, and listened very attently, and at the end we asked him why he thought that we had crossed paths with him that day... And he said it was because we were sent by God to find him and invite him to participate in the glory and salvation of the lord. (exact quote) We said that he was correct, and that by listening to the message and then acting on his faith, that he could be a participant in the Salvation of the Lord and have an eternal family! He's from paraguay, and is super humble. He couldn't make it to church yesterday... we don't know why yet but we are going by today to see him.

But good news is that we went by Roberta who is 79... And he answered all the baptismal interviews questions so well!! And he has a pretty strong testimony of everything that the gospel has to offer us. He only needs to be taught temples and he will be baptized the 10th of feb. !!! He's excited. The only problem that I am foreseeing is baptizing him haha we are going to have to do it with two elders in the font and we are going to have to lay him down and submerge him because his back doesn't bend.... and so we are looking for the solution to that detail... but it'll all work out well, and worst come to worst, we'll baptize him by proxy, which apparently you can do if you get permission :) We'll see haha

The Acosta Family are doing well too!!! They all came to another activity, and they enjoyed it a lot!! They were meeting all the members and the oldest daughter is 13 miracles is her name (Milagros) She already goes to mutual every week and there are alot of young women in our ward, which is pretty rare :) Awesome for teaching and fellowshipping the youth. And then yesterday at church the mom Marissa and Milagros came to church, and they love it, and are fitting in well!!!  all the members are friendly and inviting! They will be baptized the 17th!!!! We are praying for them alot!!! The goal for this last transfer is to baptize at least 6 people. but we are going to go for more!! in 6 weeks as a zone we want to baptize 41 people in total. Elder Fields and I are trying to motivate the zone and help them find the people that are truly ready to be taught and baptized!

The work is going good!! We were at our leadership council which was awesome to see a few old comps, and be able to council together about the progress of the mission and the missionaries!! We are doing well! we set goals and plans to achieve them, and we are really excited to help the mission! my Last Zone conference we will have a member of the area presidency talking to us, and that should be good and then he wants to have a special leadership council with all the zone leaders of Rosario. Should be good. Looking forward to that spirit!!

I'm doing good, Staying healthy and Happy, Trying to do my best, and help others do theirs too! The mission is the amazing and divinely designed!!

I love you all and hope that you have a very blessed week!!!

Love,

Elder Hubbard
