Week 58



Hi Family!!! Sorry that this letter is going to be a little shorter.... Time is flying and we are super busy... But I wanted to thank everyone for your letters and love and support!!

This week, has gone by super fast as always haha 

We had our family of 4 come to church!! Leandro, Veronica, Gonzalo, y Morena!!!
The have all accepted a baptismal date for the 23rd of june and sao we are going to have their interview this weekend!! And then the 4 of them will be baptized the 23rd!!

Today we are going to have a family home evening with them and another family in the ward that ishelping us fellowship them!! It's gonna be awesome!! haha 

Something cool that happened this past week is that we found a gypsy family!!!! This was super cool and we are going to teach them today!! haha I contacted a girl outside of her house when we were on splits, and she said we could pass by the next day... well we couldn't pass by because we had another appointment and we went a little longer than we wanted to originally... and so we went by yesterday, and she said that they had been waiting for us... and so we set up another appointment for today ad this time we have to go no matter what happens! It sounds kinda bad but we didn't think they would be there the other day waiting... because honestly here almost no one keeps the appointment commitment and we always have to find them another day by surprise haha But if they waited then that means they have potential!!!! And so today we are going to find them!! and put a baptismal date on them!! :)

I am happy and healthy!! And braving the cold!!!... :( haha I'm enjoying it alot when people invite us in to mate cocido which is like a mate flavored tea. super delicious!
haha We are seeing the miracles happen after all the work that we are doing and ave done! The Lord has prepared his children to come unto him! This family of 4 is so special, and are excited to get baptized!! Yesterday at church they talked to the bishopric about the temple, and if their son could go on the next trip, and they said yes!! The members helped us out a lot!!! 
I love this area and I love the mission!!! I feel so good, and thankful for the spirit in my life!! it really is one of the most precious gifts that God has given us!! 

This past week I was studying chapter 31 of alma :) I love the last verse, that teaches us such an important lesson :)

Week 35 New Years Roldan

Hola mi querido familia :)   Wow it's like I haven't talked to you guys since last year.... Haha Just kidding... but actually :) HAPPY HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!!!! It sounds like from all your letters that it is very cold right now haha  But that's okay haha Because the other day it was like 40 degrees here... I would have loved to have snow haha But I'm glad you are all staying warm with the wood stove :)  This week has been pretty crazy haha We haven't had a lot of time to work and proselyte because we had so many days where we couldn't get out and work because of the partying and parties that were going on haha It wasn't dangerous just crazy :) Then the days that we did get to work almost all of our appoinments fell through and so we had a week of alot of contacting and rejection... but we learned alot from all of it!! Week 91

Hey, everyone :) This week was awesome saw some really cool miracles happen and a lot of tender mercies in the work.  The family of 4 came to church!!!!!!!!! and they are cruising towards their baptism! They understand so much and have felt the spirit testify of the truthfulness of the gospel! They watched the joseph smith movie, and they loved it. They all thought it was super sad... but they all felt the spirit. one of the girls in the family milagros 13, said that when she was watching it, that all the time she just felt more and more that she needs to be baptized :) she is only 13 but understands the spirit super well, and she is so integrated with the young woman in the ward! SO great! So that was good news, There was also a little bit of sad news too... a Brother in the ward passed away from kidney failure... he was from chile, but had lived in argentina for 40 years looking for a better life. he passed away saturday and we went to the idk what you call it... like a v

Week 88 Flight Plans

Hey Everybody!!  Thanks for the update on life! It sounds like every one is busy busy busy.  Soccer, Basketball, School, work. The new program come follow me, it sounds like it is going well. I'm excited to participate more with that also. This week was great as Always, Lots of walking and talking, knocking and stalking... haha Sometimes I feel like we are stalking the people haha trying to guess when they will be home (Using the spirit) calling them all the time... We clapped alot of doors this week. probably like 40 a day almost... and then alot of people in the street. We are trying to find in a newer part of the area, and are experimenting a little bit in our contacts. We Were able to find 4 new people who want to hear the gospel this week and they have potential.
