Week 54 Mother's Day Call

Wow!!! it was soo great to see you all on skype this last sunday for Mother's Day!!!

It made me super happy to see yu all!!! Minnie is soooooo Cute!!! haha It made my Day really to see and talk to everyone and to find you all happy and healthy!! and firm in the Gospel of Jesus Christ!! :) 

Mom!!!! I love you sooo much! words on a computer screen don't do justice to how grateful I am for you in my life <3 <3 Whenever anyone asks about my family and my parents I always get a little emotional... I really do love you guys alot and feel of your love also in my life and this time that I've been on a mission :)  I know the lord helps us with this and that The blessings come and we just have to trust in him :) I love you Mom :)

This past week was super Good!!! We were teaching lots of people new and others that we had already taught :) The good thing about argentina is that normally if the people let us in the first time, they will keep letting us in :) haha 

We taught David and his 2 brothers that live with him, and last night they told us of a miracle that happened in their lives recently :) 

They promised to come to church this last sunday but didn't go because they went out partying the night before... but yesterday after P-Day we stopped by and they were outside and we saw them and got their attention so that they couldn't run away or hide in their house haha And when we got there we hadn't even started talking yet when they greeted us and ask for forgiveness for not going to church.... they are 25,22,and 18 haha they are awesome, but anyways. They said that they were sorry and that they felt bad haha we didn't even have to bring it up! it was great that they could recognize that they missed a great opportunity when tey missed church :) That's a rare thing here. we said that we forgave them but that They had to ask forgiveness of God. I felt like Alma y ammon, when the people humbled themselves sufficiently to be taught and to progress! then they tld us an experience that they had had the day before with the Book of Mormon:) 

They said that they were reading the other day and that they wanted to know if the book could answer their questions! and so they asked the question ¨How is tomorrow going to go?¨ and they opened the book to a random page. And the first line they read was ¨The heavens will open¨ Wow we were soo happy to hear this, but especially because they told us that it really happened! The heavens did in fact open up and the sun came out for the first day in three weeks... and all three brothers that were out of work and in debt, all received offers to work in a really good construction company!!!! The heavens did in fact open and God blessed them for their faith, and now they want to read even more and more!! They asked us for another part of the book of mormon to read last night and so we gave them  2 nefi 31 to read about baptism and the gospel of Jesus Christ! All three accepted to come to church this week without fail, and one of them wants to start preparing to be baptized!! It was even better because he put the baptismal date as a goal. June 9th! That's his goal! He has to stop smoking and dringking but he's really excited to make these changes and is a very humble man, and so we aren't too worried about him, but we are staying attentive to his needs and progression :) He asks us yesterday if we could get married in the mormon church and we wanted to show him the temple in buenas aires but I didn't have one with me... but the next time :) We are super excited for them to progress!! 

Yesterday we were in the bus station for almost all of P-Day that's why we are emailing tuesday, but it was a great day also!! we said goodbye to 3 missionaries from the zone and are going to get 3 more :) 

It was Elder Killpack's birthday on monday and so we celebrated with sushi haha it was interesting.... it definetely wasn't the best sushi I've ever eaten, but what are ya gonna do? haha he was happy and was a good experience to share with him! we didn't have time to buy and eat a cake, but we are going to do that this week hopefully:) 

This week we have to go to Rosario for leadership council tomorrow and we are going to receive the new direccion from president Allred :) We are excited for this, so that we can go forth helping our and our area baptize!!! 

The lord is opening and preparing the hearts of the people here in argentina and specifically in Centenario Pergamino!!!!
