translation: (Hello my dear family :) Thank you very much for all your letters and videos about life and what is happening with each one of you :) I really liked it! You are the best!!!)

This week was a rollercoaster week haha
Every week here is different with its different challenges and opportunities... But that's what makes it fun and even more spiritual :) I am learning a lot from the experiences that God puts before us every day, and every day my testimony grows, and the love for the gospel and the people is like no other right now :)

We had the opportunity to give service twice this week, which was super because every now and then I like to take of the tie... haha we helped paint a house on P-Day, and then on Saturday we helped a sister in the branch clean her whole house and yard haha It reminded me of our house and yard... haha but it felt good to be out in the fresh air and with neture again haha While we were cleaning the yard there was an area of concrete and a pipe had broken, and so there was a lot of water everywhere haha a muddy mess... but it was cool, because we discovered a family of Sapos haha (Frogs), but they weren't little by any means... The mom was huge!!!! And had teeth... I was a little scared to grab her so Elder Gutierrez who grew up here grabbed her haha I don't like touching frogs... or any other type of animal for that matter... more than anything because here we eat almost every animal haha The other Day I ate the intestines of a chicken... thats nothing new... but I ate the neck, and the kidney... I think haha but anyways there's a lot of good food too haha you just have to know how to find it. We have an investigator who hunts rabbits every week, and I want to try it... Sorry Jianna aha But these rabbits are different than yours. These are rabbits of the field and are vicious like a raccoon haha or so I've heard.

Other than service, we had a really good week with our investigators!!!
And we also had divisions or splits with the ZLs !! which was good!! While I was back in Rosario with Elder Yañez from Chile for a day, the mission leader gave me a Mate haha My first one!!! You guys'll have to look up mate to see what it is:P Im not allowed to drink it right now in the mission, but after the mission I will!!!! hahaha

Elder Yañez from Chile goes home at the end of the month with my trainer elder Curtis and a bunch of other missionaries. I learned a lot from him in the two days that we were together, he is extremely obedient, and that's how a missionary should be, and he follows the spirit exactly! Hes a stud!
In the next two transfers the whole mission is gonna change... Im gonna miss the other missionaries, but the work will go on!!

Yesterday in the morning before church we went to find a investigator se llama raquel in her house to help her go to church, but when we got there she told us that she didn't want anything to do with us or our religion... And this was a lady who before participated in all the lessons and asked good questions and who felt the spirit... but she told us not to pass by for a while... I felt super sad... we were persistent in that she come to church for the first time to judge for herself, but she didn't want to, and then her husband appeared and told us to leave... and so we respected their wish, and we will pass by their house later in the next month. and I guess we'll see what happens... We are praying for them everyday that they will soften their hearts. I've never fasted or prayed so hard for something or someone in my life like I have for investigators.

This story was kind of a down note on the week, but I learned that the people we teach need to understand and comprehend that we aren't only helping them become better people, but that we are offering them their salvation, and its really important that they understand this!!!!!!

To finish the week off we had a really good lesson with the family that we brought to church with the pancakes haha Yesterday they didn't show up for church because their schedule for work changed for the week, so hopefully the next week they will be there!!

To visit them yesterday wasn't the plan, but we both felt like we should pass by and see how they were doing.. And so we did!

We talked with the father through the window, for probably 10 minutes before he let us enter in the house haha they have whats called a kiosko in their house, which is like a mini corner store, but almost every street has at least one!! its great haha Anyways we finally entered into the house around 6:30 in the afternoon, and we didn't leave until 8:50... I don't know why, but the spirit was sooo strong for 2 hours we taught them, but the time flew by, and we were surprised when we left the house that it was time to head back to the apartment.

The lesson started with how they felt at church the other Sunday that they went, they both said that they liked it and they felt something, which was great, because we promised them before they went that they were going to feel something!!
The father felt three things!!! He felt a weight in his chest, which gradually turned into a fire, and then he told us that he felt peace, a lot of peace in his mind and heart!!! he told us that he didn't know if this was an answer or only his thoughts, we told him that it was the spirit, and that he needed to follow this prompting!!

We talked about the authority to baptize, and how he could baptize his family, we talked about temples, and how they could be sealed for all eternity, and while we were talking about temples, we talked about how they need to get married to keep all the commandments of God, and we were very direct with them, and asked them how they felt about the eight day of December to be married and then the next day, 9 of December their baptisms!!! Hahaha they were a little surprised at  our directness, but they really felt the spirit and accepted the invitation, and we are going to get all the papers so that they can be married next month!!!!!! Sooo Exciting!! haha At first the husband wasn't to happy or excited about the idea, and so we asked his wife, what was impeding her marrying him, and she said nothing hahaha!! We had the husband where we wanted him, and then we asked him the same question. And he said that there wasn't anything either, but then told us jokingly " I'll marry her, but you guys aren't invited haha" And then said" Maybe the one from Canada but you Elder Gutieerez , no!" But then I said that we both needed to be there to be witnesses haha it was funny... But the spirit was soooo strong, and I know that they felt it, and that they are going to find this happiness en La Iglesia de Jesucristo de los santos de los últimos días!!!

The marriages here can't be performed by a bishop or branch president... so we have our secretary in the church offices that does all the paper work, and then they will get married in a town office somewhere haha

They seemed super happy as we were leaving and said the closing prayer!!!

They are a family of gold!! A tender mercy in sooo many ways!!!

This week was great!! The week of you guys was too by the sounds off things!!! i'm very happy!! And Am praying for all of you everyday!

Keep being obedient to the commandments, and to the laws of our heavenly father, and we will all be blessed in this life and in the life to come!!!!

I love all of you so much!! Have a wonderful week!
